On behalf of Premier David Eby and the Government of British Columbia, welcome to the 2023 Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival.

With its wide and diverse selection of musical entertainment, artists performances, and cultural activities, the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival has something to offer people of all ages and interests. I especially applaud that this year’s festival will showcase Pow Wow singers, Indigenous drummers, dancers and more, honouring the culture and artistry of Indigenous Peoples in B.C.

The Government of British Columbia is a proud supporter of the 2023 Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival through the BC Arts Council, Creative BC and the Fairs, Festivals and Events Fund.

B.C. festivals are an integral part of a dynamic and thriving arts and culture sector, and play a central role in showcasing the cultural diversity of this great province. Festivals are also important economic contributors, drawing visitors to local communities and boosting revenues of local businesses.

Festivals, such as this one, require countless people giving of their time and talent. Thank you to the staff and the many volunteers who have made hosting this year’s event possible. Thank you also to the musicians, performing and visual artists and other festival participants. Each one of you is essential to the success of this festival. Your participation enriches our arts, creative and tourism sectors, making our communities vibrant and inviting.
