Canadian Online Jazz Festival offers virtual jazz next month
Jazz festivals across Canada are joining forces to show COVID-hit jazz fans some virtual love next month.
From November 8 to 15 there will be online jazz performances emanating from Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Calgary, Fort Langley, Vancouver, and Victoria.
“During times when we aren’t able to gather to enjoy live music, it’s good to know there are still options to present jazz music to Canadians,” says festival organizer and Calgary JazzYYC artistic director Kodi Hutchinson in a press release.
