Submit an original work of visual art to be used as the featured artwork for the 2025 Festival!

Imagine having your original artwork in front of thousands of people! The Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival is thrilled to announce our Call for Artists for next year’s festival, taking place July 24-27, 2025.

If you’re an established or emerging visual artist in the Fraser Valley, we invite you to submit a work of art to be used as the featured artwork for the 2025 Festival.

The selected piece of original visual art will be featured and used on Festival-branded materials including posters, postcard, program guide, website, social media, street banners, t-shirts and other collateral pieces. The selected artist will receive a $750 honorarium and recognition in various Festival communications.

The theme for 2025

This year’s theme is “Bridges of Sound and Art”. We’re looking for artwork that shows how the festival builds bridges between people, music, cultures and art, and creates connections through shared experiences.

Submissions will be reviewed by the Festival Art Committee based on the following criteria:

  • Interpretation and clarity of the theme in the artist explanation and artwork

  • Creativity and originality of the depicted themed and artwork

  • Suitability for use in multiple different marketing and communications materials

CONGRATULATIONS TO 2024 CALL FOR ARTIST WINNER, MOLLY GRAY

We're thrilled that our street banners and all other 2024 festival-branded materials will feature this year's Call for Artists WINNER, Molly Gray!

Molly, a local Fraser Valley artist, did such an incredible job bringing our vision and theme to life - “For the Love of Music, Art, Culture and Community”.

Her artwork drew inspiration from her niece, a jazz student musician, and the myriad of styles, tempos and moods that make jazz enjoyable for so many.

We got a chance to talk to Molly about her artistic journey and learn more about her digitally-designed masterpiece. Read all about it here
