A message from your Local MLA Megan Dykeman

As the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Langley East, it is my honour to welcome everyone to the 2023 Odlum Brown Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival.  

Since 2018, the festival has brought joy and community to Fort Langley by creating a space to discover and celebrate music and art. This year will be no different, with world-class musicians and emerging artists alike set to put on an amazing display of talent for all to enjoy.

I would also like to congratulate the organizers of the festival for putting together such a fantastic event. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our local talent and I extend my thanks and congratulations to the artists and musicians who contribute so vibrantly to this event and to the social fabric of this community. Countless hours of planning, orchestration and rehearsal have gone into this event, and I am grateful to all those who have given their time to make this festival run smoothly.

I urge everyone in Langley and beyond to take in these offerings of art and culture. The four-day festival promises an impressive diversity of events and performances which will please any person looking to celebrate music and art. Between the parades, hands-on activities, outdoor art exhibitions and dozens of bands of various styles, there will be no shortage of opportunities for enjoyment.

I wish the performers, organizers, and visitors a fantastic weekend at the festival!
