Meet Festival Sponsor: Langley Community Music School

We are so grateful to all the sponsors (past, present and future) who make the Fort Langley Jazz and Arts Festival a reality. Without our sponsors, the Festival would not exist!

Langley Community Music School (LCMS) has supported the Festival for many years and in a multitude of capacities including sponsor of the Rising Spirit Stage at the 2023 and 2024 festival.

LCMS is a non-profit organization and registered charity that is committed to providing the highest quality of musical education to students of all ages and abilities, from early learning to pre-professional and adult programs. With the support of the community and for well over 50 years, LCMS has become one of the largest non-profit music schools in the province, earning both national and international acclaim for its comprehensive and innovative programming. The school is currently accepting registrations for private lessons and group classes for the 2024-25 term.

LCMS presents concerts throughout the year, including the Rose Gellert Hall (RGH) series, an evening concert series featuring renowned Canadian and international musicians, as well as the Concerts Café Classico (CCC) series, an afternoon concert series featuring stellar local and touring musicians playing classical, jazz and contemporary works. Concerts take place in the beautiful and intimate setting of the Rose Gellert Hall at 4899 207 Street, Langley, BC.

Why did you choose to become a sponsor of the Festival?

As music educators and presenters, we are committed to fostering a thriving, local arts community for the next generation of artists and audiences. Many LCMS students and faculty – both past and present - are active jazz and blues musicians, and we are proud to support the talents of the Festivals’ young and emerging artists and Indigenous performers through our sponsorship of the Rising Spirit Stage.

What do you love most about the Festival?

We love that the Festival is a family-friendly event with so much to do, hear and see. This is a great opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience a truly diverse line-up of music, arts and cultural expressions in the quaint setting of Fort Langley!
