Drew Keilback

About The Artist

Inspired by the landscape that is western Canada, Drew's paintings reflect the diversity of prairie fields to mountain valley, the open sky to the towering cliffs of B.C. and the land of the bison to that of the grizzly. This painting, 'RavenSong', situates us deep in the rain forest where Raven calls. For what? Maybe his mate, perhaps a wayward warning or, maybe, he speaks of the Earth.

Robin Bandenieks

About The Artist

Local artist and oil painter focuses on creating colourful, realistic art in four categories – human portraiture and figurative, animal, still life, and floral. My objectives are to capture a likeness and attitude when painting humans and animals: my goals are to invoke a story or rekindle a memory. I especially like creating a painting with the subjects staring back at me. Oil paint is my medium of choice as it allows a vast array of mark making and simply squeezing it out onto the palette stimulates my creativity.
