Gerald Sandau
About The Artist
Self taught, Gerald has emerged with a natural talent to create original, one of a kind sculptures of the unique and wonderous creatures that the Creator blessed us with. A lifetime of working with animals and nature, while farming and ranching, has endeared him to the beauty of wildlife in its natural habitat when uninterrupted by human intervention. Their grace and grandeur, their perks and quirks, often humorous, sometimes fearsome, always alert, moves him to capture one frame in their movement. He creates, from nature's stone, finely detailed, three dimensional wildlife sculptures. Works in jade, chlorite, soapstone, serpentine, alabaster and perypholite(wonderstone).

Suzanne Erickson
About The Artist
“Going back through history, hard shelled gourds are one of the oldest cultivated plants. Their fascinating shapes and intriguing history speaks to me. The more I work with them I realize they are an amazing medium. I love their tactile, natural feel and the challenge they offer to be lovingly sculpted into works of art. Painted, burned, carved and embellished, they provide endless possibilities as my perfect canvas”.
Suzanne’s work displays a unique combination of ancient tradition and contemporary design.
She is a multi-talented artist, a professional hand engraver, egg artist, gourd artist and pyrography (wood burning) instructor.
